Man ole man...I am so over the teething stage! The boys are almost 7 months old and have every sign of teething! They have been running a slight fever, slobbing and drooling EVERYWHERE, chewing on EVERYTHING in sight, and worst of all CRANKY and REJECTING their feedings! :(
I have yet to find something to help soothe them, but after doing some research there is a brand called Hyland's (sold at your local drug store or Walmart) that carries teething tablets and teething gel. It's all natural and safe for babies! (Yes, I'm that mommy...even before children) It makes me nervous to not give them anything that is not all natural because they are very sensitive to many things. But ALWAYS take extra precaution and read the ingredients in things that have an All Natural label slapped on it. And plus, me and my husband are sensitive to a lot...primarily me, LOL. You name it and I'm probably allergic to it.
But, nonetheless I am going to go on a hunt for the Hyland's teething gel. [I actually looked it up online and found that it was sold at my local Walgreens.] I'll give it a try and let you guys know how it worked out for us. Check my mommy page on Facebook for the update!
Drop me a comment letting me know the different things you may have tried or "old timer" remedies that you know of and let me know what did and didn't work for you! And hang in there as we get through the teething blues together!
